uTorrent Fix : Files stuck at "Checked 0.0%" 04-11-2013, 05:55 AM

Recently I encountered this new problem when I updated uTorrent. Basically when you try to download some torrent files, you get stuck at "Checked 0.0%" and it doesn't continue on with downloading. If you have this problem then there's a simple solution.
Go to the Start menu and type in "%AppData%\uTorrent" without the quotations. If you are using Windows XP, then you have to type in "Run" and in the box prompted type in "%AppData%\uTorrent" without quotes.
Make sure uTorrent is closed.
When the folder opens, look for the file, "resume.dat"
If you have the "resume.dat.old" file, take that file too and drag it out of the folder and to your desktop.
Open up uTorrent. All your torrents shouldn't be there, but don't freak out. It's supposed to be like that.
Now close uTorrent and then drag the two files, "resume.dat" and "resume.dat.old" back into the folder you got them from.
Finally, restart uTorrent. Your torrents should be back and they should start downloading.
