want to learn hacking but i got a shitty gpu19 minutes ago #1
is there any hacking activity that doesn't require decent gpu?
im running an old i5 with ssd+hdd and 16gb ram and a shitty old radeon
someone gave this laptop to me and i thought maybe I could find another way out of my shitty low paying job through this
haven't used kali linux or other distro, actually the first day learning about it through some readings
but my friend told me that i need a gpu for hacking.

any thoughts?

The last thing I'd be worried about is your GPU.

You can buy AWS cloud instances for pennies on the hour for most things. As long as you have like 4GB RAM you can do pretty much everything you need. Your bottleneck isn't the GPU, it's the CPU. The processor needs to be pretty decent for multitasking and that means you need more threads. I think you can get away with 4GB VRAM and you can buy some more if needed.

You're confusing hacking with cracking. There's a big difference between the two.

In terms of website exploitation, you don't need anything special to gain back-end access.
