Cheesy, but it looks like they nailed the trailer. Off the bat I see Mad Pierrot, Murdoch, Space Warriors, and Vicious.

I appreciate their attempt at recreating the original introduction, but if these shots are taken from the actual episodes I am a bit worried about the cinematography.

New trailer is bizarre. Neat to see certain things in 3D. Some characters look great, while others are unrecognizable.

Weirdly, I actually want to watch it more thanks to this trailer. It's got me curious about the show in it's own right.

Haven't gotten around to seeing it yet, but the reviews seem less harsh than I was anticipating.

I call it Slowboy Beebop. The fighting scenes were laughable even if you've never seen the anime series before. The show desparately needs a fight coordinator.

I've yet to see it, but in the anime the fights are choreographed with the music perfectly... it's hard to imagine a live action could ever replicate that style.

Live action strayed so far from the source that I couldn't force myself to watch it, but maybe some people enjoyed it.

Oh God, can they please stop with these Live actions? FMA was bad, Death Note was bad, how do they expect Cowboy Bebop to be good?

There's actually some really good adaptations out there... Rurouni Kenshin and Great Teacher Onizuka both had great live actions. Unfortunately live actions like Death Note and Cowboy Bebop deviate so far from the source material, it's unintelligible.

Generally when live actions go properly, you can tell the writers and original producers are working together. When it was discussed how little Watanabe/original producers were involved, most people dialed down their optimism.
