My best advice for anyone starting college: Set yourself some targets of what to get done each day/week and stick to it. College learning tends to lend itself to a lot of self-study time, meaning it can be even easier to leave things till later and get yourself in a difficult spot with workload.

Definitely get the work done before you relax too. It's so much easier to make yourself get through your workload when you aren't delving into a much more "fun" activity first. I'd start playing a game thinking "I'll do that paper later", and before I knew it.. I hadn't done the paper that night xD I learned to get the work done before I chilled when I could help it. It was much easier to not get distracted that way.

Thanks for the advice! To be honest, I am little stressed when talking about college as everybody says it is very difficult and I will have little or even no free time. It is quite discouraging, but I really hope I won't drop it. Now, I prepare the documents to apply and also I am in the process of writing the admission essay. Since I want to study at one of the top colleges, I am helped by this service https://www.essayedge.com/college-essay-editing/ which tells me how to write a persuasive and clear essay in order to show them that I deserve a spot there. Wish me luck!

A few things I wish I had known:

Avoid 07:00 classes if you can. You will hate yourself to wake up that early.

Make sure your schedule is balanced throughout the week. If you try to cram all your courses into 3 or 2 days a week, you'll have a bad time.

I would just like to ask for advice for me. Any advice would do!

Thank you!

Make friends with your compsci professors. Build you intervivew skills from the start. Give yourself these two HUGE headstarts before it catches up to you junior/senior year.
