I am very sorry to hear this.
All my grandparents have received their vaccines, and had no real issues with any of their doses, thankfully.

Actually would love to get vaccinated, but I am scared from side effects I read

There are multiple threads about the subject, and reading here and there it seems that everyone is getting very light to mild side effects. I'm a bit concerned as I'm having my first dose in a few days... Wish me luck!

This morning, I read an article about a "vaccinated nurse" who actually tested positive.

It clearly demonstrates that Infection Is still well and truly possible when vaccinated. It's possible that another variant was responsible for the Infection.

Speaking of... Have a look at this research result (it's not too long to read and I found it interesting):

I took my first dose of AZ yesterday. My arm feels heavy and sore. I am feeling a little feverish but otherwise okay. I am trying to distract myself.

After a lot of compulsion from my friends, I ultimately decided to go for AstraZeneca vaccine and I have taken the first dose. No noticeable side effects as such except for some soreness and slight ache. I had delayed getting vaccinated fearing side effects.

Got my dose yesterday. No problem whatsoever, except a little pain where the stuff was injected. Hope it stays like that and doesn't get any worse

I have taken first dose of Pfizer vaccine and though I was apprehensive reading about few cases of rare blood clots on vaccinated people, I went ahead and it's more than a week now. I am fine.

This Is the reason of my Indecisiveness.

Although the probability of a blood clot Is rather slim, It doesn't change the fact that It can and does happen.
