The storylines have some very big differences. The link I posted before highlights the main ones (spoilers). I watched Brotherhood years after seeing the original, but I'd definitely recommend both.

Yeah, I might check it out. Is FMA brotherhood on manga format aswell? FMA was actually the first manga i ever read.
(Manga=same as anime except pocket book format, if u didnt know).
I just love how it is such a dark and yet beautiful story.

Brotherhood sticks closer to how the manga progressed later on. They're both adaptations, as they both started from the manga.

Although the manga is definitively better, also finished, Berserk. Movies and show.
I also really loved Haikyuu! and started watching Naruto recently. Very interesting
