Video card help? - ErroraBorealis - 07-20-2013

is this: http://www.amazon.com/gp/product/B0088YP57I/ref=ox_sc_act_title_3?ie=UTF8&psc=1&smid=ATVPDKIKX0DER
better than this: http://www.amazon.com/PNY-VCG981024GXEB-GeForce-S-Video-Graphics/dp/B001E7498C/ref=sr_1_9?ie=UTF8&qid=1374283626&sr=8-9&keywords=pci-e+2.0+nvidia+9800+pny

I don't know shit about video cards other than I used to have the PNY one until it burnt out and I will have the money to buy it in about a week.

Is the better one. Make sure the monitor(s) you have are compatible, though.

Isn't it the wide hdmi port? If not I could get an adapter, right?

It depends on your monitor.

Yes, you could probably adapt it, but why not just find a card in the same range that supports your monitor, so you get the full experience?

Are you going to be playing video games? Or doing some office work?

Games that aren't that new, I had the 9800 and it played almost everything I wanted, it just burnt out. I'm using shitty onboard video. I'm not much of a gamer but I like the option sometimes. I can get the card for free anyway,

Yeah I'd say the 630 is better as well. Got any more cards to compare with the 630?

And pci-e 2.0 cards in that general price range with DHMI that can be found on amazon, as I'll be getting it refunded.
