Lost Password to Twitter Account - hastybuns - 09-17-2018
Hi there, I have a Twitter account that I locked myself out of. I used a relatively easy password (which I somehow still managed to forget), it has been 2 years since the last tweet.
Is it possible for me to get hold of it anyhow?

If it was quite simple or common you could try using a dictionary attack on it. Otherwise using the "forgot password" normally is fine if you have access to thr email or phone number linked to it.
If you want to try a dictionary attack I'm not entirely sure how you could ask a more experienced member in this area. @mothered might have some insight.

The "forget password" should do, as Auftot suggests.
If you haven't twitted in 2 years, why not create a new account?

If for some reason you cannot access you email accociated with it you could end up doing another forgot password on that email, possibly leading you down a loophole of "forgot password". But if your account is that important to you then it's worth it.
Also you could check your older devices- if you still own them- for any saved passwords.

As stated, use the account recovery.
You can also submit a ticket with Twitter's Help Center. They will go through a series of questions to help recover the account.

I do not have the access to that old mail.
Never knew Twitter's help center will ask for a series of questions for it. Will give this a try and get back after any result.

Tell them you cannot log In to your account due to a forgotten password, and you no longer have access to your recovery options (email address etc).
They should run a series of questions to verify ownership.

I do hope you get a helpful representative. I've dealt with a handful who've woken up on the wrong side of the bed- not very helpful. On the other hand, there's those who'll practically donate their liver (so to speak) to resolve the matter.
