Anyone into classical music? - Eren Yeager - 07-13-2013 Here's just a joke before you start reading this post ahah. ![]() Currently I've been a lot into classical music, even though I always "disliked" it or I guess I just never really listened to it? I'm looking for some great pieces of classical music, so if you're into it, what's your favorite/favorites? If you never really listened to it, listen to some of the pieces below. My favorites (so far). Four Seasons by Antonio Vivaldi (Summer is my favorite) Moonlight Sonata by the infamous Ludwig van Bethoven RE: Anyone into classical music? - Dismas - 07-13-2013 Some is alright. Have to pay respects simply because a lot of metal has influence from classical. RE: Anyone into classical music? - Eren Yeager - 07-13-2013 (07-13-2013, 02:38 AM)Oni Wrote: Some is alright. RE: Anyone into classical music? - ねこまっしぐら - 07-13-2013 I like the violin. It's calming. Not like rap or hip-hop. Very nice. ![]() It's even more apparent when they are played together. RE: Anyone into classical music? - Nil - 07-13-2013 I gave it a listen. I wouldn't say I'm into it, but I don't despise it. It's bearable and I wouldn't complain if it was playing around me. RE: Anyone into classical music? - Finesse - 07-13-2013 I LOVE classical music! To my detriment more than its, it can't really hold my attention for long, so if I'm doing any active listening (rather than playing the song in the background) I prefer modern music that uses snippets of classical melody. Example: Also, if you count it as classical (and I wouldn't be surprised if you didn't) I enjoy film scores. Example: Actually, come to think of it I enjoy almost any melody from films I enjoy (given I don't enjoy those with poor melodies). Example: (This is more of a waltz, but I'm absolutely in love with it. The music from almost any Miyazaki movie is bound to impress as much as the visuals, so it's far from surprising.) One more: If you've seen the movie before I'm sorry for making you cry. RE: Anyone into classical music? - Customer - 07-13-2013 I've only recently got into classical. Mainly Pianists. My favorite would probably be Yoko Shimomura. She has made a lot of the soundtracks in Video Games. I also like Beethoven, Mozart ect.. But not many. I've only recently started listening to this genre. RE: Anyone into classical music? - Charon - 07-13-2013 Sometimes I listen to it when I'm doing homework, I get focussed and it relaxes too.
