This relies on the obvious, by assuming the target will execute the file.
When navigating via Tor and you attempt to open a given file, It prompts not to do so. Evidently, never open links/files unbeknownst to you.

Agree we must be careful on the Internet.
"It can also give you the real IP of a VPN user if he accidentally opens the document after having disconnected from VPN."
