Minecraft: Bedrock Edition - Slingshot - 06-29-2018

I think that, if PC Minecraft and all others were linked entirely as a single game, just ported onto different platforms, it would be great as multiplayer would be magnificent. What do you guys think? Smile

For sure since, if Fortnite can do it, any game can.

The reason that many video games (including Grand Theft Auto V) lack cross-platform multiplayer is due to money. On a PlayStation, Sony wants you to pay them money to play online, and similarly with Microsoft and XBox. These are for-profit corporations, wanting to maximize their net income.

For sure. Just wish Nintendo was part of it since, it isn't connected with fortnite. it's a split console from what I've heard.
but for money wise, good way to keep yourself living.

I am not really a big Nintendo fan, but it would still be cool if they got involved.

The exclusivity fragments the gaming community. For a bunch of pre-built machines, they seem to lack the infrastructure. I'd love to see more titles follow Fortnite's path.

I personally will never play minecraft bedrock edition. Granted I got it free just for owning java. But Its just not something I can do. I need my mods

Minecraft is just great. It is good in the way that you can develop your characters in different ways at the same time on each platform.

definitely, the thing is that Minecraft Bedrock (Im talking about the phone & Windows 10 version here) is cheaper when you buy the game, it is at a low price and Microsoft & Mojang don't make that much of a profit on the number of people that brought the game, they make it with the online store which is only present on the bedrock versions of minecraft, Minecraft java doesn't have a store however it is significatly more expensive (MCPE is 6.99£, Minecraft Java is ~20-25£). This also applies to most games that have micro-transactions in, such as Fortnite or Clash Of Clans. This (i think) is the main source of profit the game makers. (except for EA where they love money and sells their games for +50£ & with micro-transactions)
