Bitcoin Price Is Down 50% This Year Alone - mothered - 06-18-2018

Greetings everyone,

Here's the latest developments on the fluctuation of Bitcon's trading- this time taking a turn for the worse. The first source Is a week old, whilst the other Is as of today.

Quote:The Bitcoin price has today dropped 12%, taking its year-to-date losses to an eye-watering 50%, after South Korean exchange Coinrail warned users it’s reviewing its system due to a hacking attempt.

The latest blow comes as the Bitcoin price struggles to find a floor amid regulatory concerns, dwindling transactions, sky-high power consumption, and criticism from the world's established financial industry.

The combined market capitalisation of the top 50 largest cryptocurrencies has dropped over $387 billion this year, a decline of over 53 per cent.

Today, 90 per cent of these top coins are worth less than they were at the start of the year.

Precisely.

It can be a false economy at times and due to BTC's fluctuation, reports of this nature are by no means an Indicator of future events.

As per my aforementioned post, It Is a fluctuating market and this latest report backs my statement.

Quote:Cryptocurrency prices notched two-and-a-half week highs Sunday, with a majority of the gains occurring over the span of an hour thanks to a sudden surge in trading volumes.

Bitcoin peaked $6,885.91 Sunday at 11:44 UTC, its highest level in nearly one month.

Everything comes to an end at some point.

I just don't see It happening with BTC anytime soon.

What increases eventually decreases. It's just how things work. Who knows, maybe Bitcoin will skyrocket tomorrow, or maybe it will die.

We're just way too small to know who's pulling strings and in which direction, but who knows what will happen in a decade or two
