Well it's not trying to be norse mythology. It's simply based upon it but it's completely it's own lore.

Skyrim? Its own lore? No, The Elder Scrolls has its own lore, Skyrim is just the lore of TES.. Skyrim is also the game that has the worst display of the TES lore...

Well Skyrim is a part of TES series. I feel Skyrim did a great job of doing Lore. To each his own though.

Oh sure it did a splendid job! Only that they changed a decently big part of the lore to suit the needs of Skyrim and it made the lore worse.. -.-

What big part of the lore did it exactly change? At the end of the day though, games are meant to be played. I'd rather changes to make a great experience then sticking 100% and missing out on some cool opportunities.
