Bank Admits Losing Statements Of 20 million Accounts - mothered - 05-03-2018 Greetings to all, One of the largest banks In Australia, namely the Commonwealth Bank, has admitted losing backup data for around 20 million accounts. Apparently, the data was to be deleted by a sub-contractor, however the bank did not receive a certificate (by the contractor) supporting the data wipe. Although the bank Is reluctant to say so, the data may well be community property.
