Who has been watching this?
I began watching it on Netflix when it first came out in January, in the UK (I'm surprised it came out there months before the US), and I got rather hooked. It's a little too emotional for my usual tastes, but I couldn't stop watching. The art is absolutely stunning.
A lot of the episodes show their own self-contained stories, but there is a progression of development and self-discovery with the main character and some of those around her.

The Great War finally came to an end after four long years of conflict; fractured in two, the continent of Telesis slowly began to flourish once again. Caught up in the bloodshed was Violet Evergarden, a young girl raised for the sole purpose of decimating enemy lines. Hospitalized and maimed in a bloody skirmish during the War's final leg, she was left with only words from the person she held dearest, but with no understanding of their meaning. Recovering from her wounds, Violet starts a new life working at CH Postal Services after a falling out with her new intended guardian family. There, she witnesses by pure chance the work of an "Auto Memory Doll," amanuenses that transcribe people's thoughts and feelings into words on paper. Moved by the notion, Violet begins work as an Auto Memory Doll, a trade that will take her on an adventure, one that will reshape the lives of her clients and hopefully lead to self-discovery.

I'll look at it and maybe start watching it on Crunchyroll if it's available though it looks cool from the images.

Honestly. I could spend hours sharing images and clips from this show. It might not be for everyone, and the stories are very much about people's feelings and mindsets, so perhaps over-emotional. But that art blows me away. It's right up my street aesthetically.

If you have netflix - it has just been released in the states yesterday! Most other countries have had it for a while. I believe they provide the full season in one hit, rather than weekly episode releases. I checked and crunchyroll doesn't have it yet. I'm sure kissanime or gogoanime have it by now though.

Also.. I'm gonna leave this right here too *ooooooo... ahhhhh*
