Hello everyone,
I'm looking for someone that can create a simple logo for me. If you're interested shoot me a PM for more details.

It's very low cost. Though, if you're looking to help people who are learning or just starting out, then it's fair.
Realistically, if you wanted someone skilled and experienced, expect to pay minimum x5 that. Those skills take years of input to work out. And software ain't always cheap xD
Anyway, I'd definitely recommend the gfx people to hit you up. If I see anyone I'll try to refer them!

The designers at my work (for personal purposes), actually charge tenfold. They're pro designers and their services don't come cheap.

@"Ender" I think you misunderstand. I provided very little info so it's my fault. I'm not creative at all and suck at anything art/graphic... all that kind of stuff. I'm just looking for someone that can create a text logo, with background and maybe a small icon. It doesn't need to be done very profesionally as it's for my personal blog only so nothing corporate.
I'm pretty sure there is someone out there that isn't working now or something or just wants to make an easy buck, if they don't want that it that's fine. I'm not obligating anyone to create something for me. Anyway, if I had a company and needed a logo, I sure would pay a normal amount, but paying 250$ for a blog logo that'll rarely use is a bit too much for me if you can understand that.

I had assumed as much at the real professional level. Considering the years of learning, experience, software costs etc. To think about it this way: If an artists sells you a piece of work at $300, and 5 years later sells you something similar at $3000, you are not going to be best pleased, (unless their $300 piece has a resale value at the same price perhaps - unlikely). To the artist, they may have learned a lot in 5 years, and think that time justifies the price, but really, they may have sold themselves short 5 years prior. So it's hard for creatives to find the right balance when new. Lots of people will do highly underpaid work just to ensure a commission.

No problem - I assumed as much! There's bound to be people who would love that offer, as we've seen already. But I thought I'd put that out there for anyone viewing the thread with the intent of asking for some serious work at low prices. Context and designer circumstance do come into it. Hell, there's plenty of people who dabble and don't do it professionally too.
