Cobra Kai Trailer - mothered - 03-24-2018 Greetings everyone, Those who've watched and are a fan of the original Karate Kid (1984), will be pleased to know that a TV series named Cobra Kai Is set to air (If not already) sometime In 2018. Quote:Set thirty years after the events of the 1984 All Valley Karate Tournament, the series focuses on Johnny Lawrence reopening the Cobra Kai dojo, which causes his rivalry with Daniel LaRusso to be reignited. IMDb got It wrong In the above quote. It's "34 years". RE: Cobra Kai Trailer - Bish0pQ - 03-24-2018 I've watched the original one, never heard about this one coming though. Will be an interesting movie to watch, I just hope they don't fuck up as many movie companies do with remakes/follow-ups. RE: Cobra Kai Trailer - mothered - 03-24-2018 The good part about It Is, two of the original/main actors are part of the cast- being William Zabka (Johnny Lawrence) & Ralph Macchio (Daniel LaRusso). As a side note, I've spotted an error In the opening scene. Johnny Lawrence Is not wearing a headband when kicked In the head and upon falling to the ground, the headband suddenly appears. No headband: Spoiler:![]() Zoomed: Spoiler:![]() Headband: Spoiler:![]() Next Frame (Zoomed): Spoiler:![]() RE: Cobra Kai Trailer - Bish0pQ - 03-24-2018 @mothered I'm not really good with names so I have no idea who the actors are but I believe you if you say they're good. In terms of the error you spotted, you certainly have an eye for detail! Didn't notice it at all. In my views, as with most movies, the roles are mostly best played by the original cast. Back In the days of when movies were part of my routine, I've watched many sequels played by other actors that were a complete failure. It's not always the case though. |
