uTorrent Remote Execution Vulnerability - mothered - 02-23-2018

Greetings to all,

I won't personally elaborate on an In depth basis- I'll be here all day and probably bore you to tears. Simply put, this vulnerability allows an attacker to remotely execute malicious code and access the target system. When using software of this nature, this Is one of many reasons why you should either use a dedicated physical system (solely utilized for It's purpose without any other form of sensitive computing), or operate In a virtual environment.

Quote:Google Project Zero researchers are warning of two critical remote code execution vulnerabilities in popular versions of BitTorrent’s web-based uTorrent Web client and its uTorrent Classic desktop client. According to researchers, the flaws allow a hacker to either plant malware on a user’s computer or view the user’s past download activity.
