the only thing i dont like around here is that "quote" doesnt work and i have to press"reply" to reply to people

No. It does work bruh. When you click the quote button, you will see some small text underneath the quick reply box at the bottom of the thread page.

You could offer that in our suggestions section!
Most of us are pretty accustomed to scrolling down to the quick reply box. This also allows you to quote multiple people in one message. Not sure how that would work with an instant pop-up reply box, but it's still an interesting thought though.
