Your 5 Must Have Programs - Jim Carroll - 01-08-2018

Which programs would you say are your 5 "must-haves"? This doesn't include standard programs that come with your operating system (Windows Media player for example, ha-ha). You don't have to include security programs and such as well, because they are really obvious ones.


Here are mine (in no particular order):

- Google Chrome browser.
- Skype/Discord - I'm cheating a little, but oh well.
- uTorrent.
- Steam.
- Notepad++.

5) Cinema 4D

4) No-Ip (DUC)

Looks like @"Ender" and I are the only ones packing Firefox so far (EDIT: nvm):

  1. Firefox
  2. VSCode
  3. Discord
  4. eM Client
  5. MS Office (I know this is more than one application, so if I must choose one, it would be Word)

Here is a full list of the things I install on all of my fresh Windows:

Firefox, SQLyog, VSCode, Discord, IntelliJ IDEA, Virtual Box, Docker, Golang, Clang, Visual Studio, Sublime Text, Chrome, Whatsapp, Python, Bitvise, Teamviewer, Inkscape, Bandicam, Steam, Origin, Java, eM Client, 7-Zip, Blender, and 1Password.

I think that's all.
