[CLOSED} Amazon Subsection - Pro_SE - 12-13-2017 I was browsing through the "Social Engineering" section, and most of it was taken up by Amazon stuff. Technically this is not Social Engineering, but fraud. I thought it might be a good idea to have a subsection in Social Engineering, but specifically for Amazon. RE: Amazon Subsection - Synthx - 12-13-2017 I don't think this would be much of a good idea, as we have had members in the past get a little mad over this stuff. We have even talked about removing the SE section overall. I just thought it might make the people who get annoyed over people talking about Amazon on the SE section less annoyed. True, but I think it would only attract more amazon people :/ RE: Amazon Subsection - mothered - 12-14-2017 (12-13-2017, 02:06 PM)Pro_SE Wrote: I was browsing through the "Social Engineering" section, and most of it was taken up by Amazon stuff. Technically this is not Social Engineering, but fraud. Although the outcome In a lot of cases Is relative to financial gain, the methodologies used (In a lot of methods) to achieve the objective, are In fact social engineering. On these grounds, I believe a subsection Is not warranted.
