Favourite Movies - Jim Carroll - 12-12-2017

What are your favourite movies?

The Wolf of Wall Street is my all time favourite, I could honestly watch it every day. The movie is a thrill ride, and is absolutely hilarious and meticulously constructed. I was both engaged and hypnotized nearly the entire duration the first time I ever saw the movie. The movie also presents my favourite actor, Leonardo DiCapiro, in possibly his finest acting performance of his career - granted, he was superb in The Revenant as well, but he was on another level in The Wolf of Wall Street.

Other Favourites:
  • The Shawshank Redemption.
  • Pulp Fiction.
  • Face/Off.
  • The Godfather Trilogy.
  • The Dark Knight Trilogy.

I've seen Wolf of Wall Street before and it was a really good movie, not one of my favourites, but I'd still recommend to watch it if you haven't yet. I just watched The Shawshank Redemption the other day and it was also a really good movie, I'd recommend to watch it too.

Anyways, here are my favorite movies:
- Men in Black
- The Matrix
- Inception
- Planes, Trains & Automobiles
- The Pursuit of Happyness

I agree; the Wolf of Wall Street was a great movie.

Some of my other favourites include Avatar, Lord of the Rings, some Nazi Germany movies (Schindler's List, The Boy in the Striped PJs (more of a chick movie, but still well done)), Harry Potter, the first Indiana Jones, and those other ones.

Avatar was my most favourite movie. I cannot believe it is already almost nine years old. Time flies.

Further to my above post, I'd also like to Include Band of Brothers.

It's a miniseries that's definitely worth watching.
