It's good practice to also use private search engines. Here's a few, with one (Metager) that allows opening links anonymously via It's built-In proxy. https://metager.de/ https://www.ixquick.com/ https://duckduckgo.com/ https://www.startpage.com/ There's too much to mention so without going Into detail, you may want to look Into encrypting your DNS servers (thus prevent DNS leaks), anonymize WebRTC fingerprinting, changing your browser's user agent (even In Tor), anonymize your entry point to Tor using bridges, prevent location, OS, hardware and login leaks and the list goes on. Chrome supports X-Frame-Options HTTP header check/response header (SAMEORIGIN & DENY), so that's one step ahead In preventing clickjacking attacks. You have a pretty good setup though. RE: Rate my Secuirty-Antivirus Config - al68 - 12-05-2017 Be aware also on using CCleaner. Since the last scandal, I don't trust them anymore! https://www.theverge.com/2017/9/18/16325202/ccleaner-hack-malware-security RE: Rate my Secuirty-Antivirus Config - mothered - 12-05-2017 (12-05-2017, 10:38 AM)al68 Wrote: Be aware also on using CCleaner. This Is the most recent report I could find, around 2 weeks after the above link. https://threatpost.com/inside-the-ccleaner-backdoor-attack/128283/ I've never had the need to use tools of this nature, nor did I find any of benefit when putting them to the test. Optimization and cleaning tools offer very little benefit and as for those featuring a "Registry cleaner", don't bother using It. It's useless. |
