Stray cat overpopulation is a big problem in Japan, largely because many if not most cats are not neutered. That may be one reason why Japanese culture does not shy away from showing, and in some cases even celebrating (see: Pom Poko), testicles on animals. In the latest example, Hakusensha and Takara Tomy's Neko Danshi Nyankee High School multimedia project is showcasing feline testicles in a much-larger-than-life way at Animate Girls Festival 2017 this weekend.This is disturbing and hilarious in equal measure.
