Drumming - Defeat - 11-03-2017 Anyone here play the drums? I bought a practice pad to get some training in before taking lessons officially... I literally used it once, I think I should just start paying for lessons and it'll force me to be productive with the pad. Anyway, how'd you get into it? RE: Drumming - mothered - 11-03-2017 My ex-neighbor was very good with drums and he was actually self-taught. Although It may be a little more difficult to learn on your own, If you have the passion for something, there's no boundaries. RE: Drumming - Sikom - 11-03-2017 I have actually played drums for quite a while (6-7 years or so). I started in a school band, where I first learnt to play the drumset. I also have lessons each week with an instructor. Where you planning on just playing on that pad or are you planning to move on to a drumset @'OhChanada'? I would say that the pad is mostly used to learn how to hold your drumstick, and maybe learn how to play on a snaredrum, and not much else. Feel free to message me on here or on discord if you need any help or anything.
