[Cloudflare] Stopping DDos / Proxys / Other Attacks - ZanGetsu - 09-25-2017 Hello everyone, well in the next tuto we will see how to stop some attacks that come out every day. I have been in several different forums of type SMF, which have suffered Proxy type attacks, with different tools, unfortunately the CMS mentioned falls easily with this type of attacks, however much we have, firewalls and other things, unless we achieve effectively block all ips attackers, it will even fall even using cloudflare. We will see an option in the cloudflare configuration, for this we have 2 domains protected with cloudflare, but the 2 configured differently, one of the default and one custom. ![]() ![]() Well we see the 2 ping, the 2 with cloudflare After this, we will go to the configurations of our site in cloudflare, as it is in the following image: ![]() Well this option in simple words declares that they are penetrating the highest level of security and declare that we are under a big attack, at the same time with this when we enter our website we will have a verification like this: ![]() Analyzing the code a bit we will see the following verification: ![]() Well as we can analyze we have a sum that is done, to deny us or accept our access to the site To see the performance makes a video that summarizes everything seen, the tool used for stress testing is found here: http://sourceforge.net/projects/wikiboatdos giving credits to the creator of the tool I create the Video in 2013: Enjoy, Regards!! |
