After installation, there will be a PDF provided in the directory where you installed it which is easy to follow. The commands are also case sensitive. This also supports other platforms. According to the PDF(I have this installed on Windows), Suricata has been tested with Windows 7, Windows 8, Windows Server 2008 R2, and Windows Server 2012 R2 64 bit. Enjoy.
