North Korea fires missile over Japan - ethics404 - 09-15-2017
“The four islands of the [Japanese] archipelago should be sunken into the sea by the nuclear bomb of Juche,” the country’s Asia-Pacific Peace Committee said in a statement carried by state news agency KCNA. “Japan is no longer needed to exist near us.”
Late last month, North Korea fired a ballistic missile over Japan’s northern island of Hokkaido, a move that prompted US president Donald Trump to warn that “all options are on the table” for dealing with Pyongyang’s weapons programmes.
On Monday the UN Security Council agreed its latest round of measures, which include halting North Korean textile exports, capping fuel imports and banning the use of North Korean overseas labour
US officials had expected that North Korean dictator Kim Jong Un would respond to the UN sanctions which — combined with earlier measures — place 90 per cent of North Korean exports under embargo
China and Russia signed up to the latest UN sanctions after the US agreed to dilute an earlier draft that would have imposed a full embargo on oil exports to North Korea.

Given the Non-Proliferation Treaty, they should have been nuked as soon as they started researching the weaponry. Appeasement has never been a viable strategy. The longer the world waits, the more of a threat they will become. They already pose a threat to Japan and other US allies.

They are threatening china, Japan, south Korea and America. We need to make an example out of him and publically handle this issue if not more countries are going to begin the same behaviour and it'll spiral out of control before we can get a grasp on it.

Its a fine line, but some kind of military response is needed. Kim Jong Un believes the US is weak and will not retaliate. We cannot allow these acts of aggression toward our allies.
