Wonderful start to a day - Tree - 05-14-2013
Okay so I woke up for school today at 5:30am. I got up, stretched and tried to crack my neck while doing so. Then what happened was I felt this grinding type feeling in my neck and then terrible pain. Since then I can't move me neck to the right and if I do I get terrible pains.
Nothing like this happened to me before and I was wondering your opinions on whether I should go to a chiropractor or not. Do you think it will just go away on it's own?

You have a........... Fuck the word slipped out my mind I forgot what it's called. >_< sorry. Anyway I sometimes get that when I wake up.
EDIT: It's called stiff neck I remember now. It's caused by the wrong sleeping position and or something you did.

Damn that sucks. I never try cracking my neck for that very reason.

It's a bit dangerous if you ask me. although I crack my neck a few times sometimes.

The best way to crack my neck is just to roll it when I get up, it's the only time I do it. Needless to say I won't be doing that any more.

It happens to me all the time. Yeah I got a very bad turning habit. I get pains all over my body, especially my arms, neck and ribs.

That happened to me once and it went away after like 4 days! It sucks but it does go away. If it's really bad I'd say 4 days but if it's not terrible- probably a day or two!

Let's just assume I have it really bad, after the first day how bad was it the next? I'm hoping to be able to go to school tomorrow, do you think I'd be fine going?

That sucks for you Tree man. I haven't encountered something like that before honestly, I suggest to seek a doctor about your neck pain by the way.

Well I'd say probably but I'm no doctor. I only speak from experience. It might be sore but I'd say so! Good luck with it!
