I got accepted to a university - Pikami - 07-27-2017
It's official, I got accepted to a university that I wanted to study at.
I've been dreaming of studying in this university for two years so right after I finished school I signed up for the selection. There is a selection on free places, there is a limit of people that can get in a free place so there's definitely some competition, they select people based on their school final grades and guess what, my grades were good enough, omg I'm a nerd lol.
I found out not long ago how good my grades really are, last year, the last person who got a free place had a score of 4.35, when I heard this I was like "Oh shit, my score is 8.16 why did I try so hard..."
I signed the paperwork 2 days ago and I begin studying on first of September, the studies take 4 years, but lots of students find jobs after 1 year of studying because the demand for programmers is high in my country. The studies title is "Programų sistemos" which is "Software systems" if translated by google, but basically it's software engineering and programming.
I hope to learn a lot and meet more people with the same interests as me, wish me luck!
