trying to bypass a fingerprint login on windows 7 - Num5kull - 07-16-2017

I have a machine with a user and an admin account.
the user account has no password and the admin account uses the fingerprint scanner.
Any fresh ideas on how to bypass?
Biggrin
Have a nice day

You can check out http://www.instructables.com/id/How-To-Fool-a-Fingerprint-Security-System-As-Easy-/ and see if that helps, you will of course need to change some steps to make it work for your situation. https://smartphones.gadgethacks.com/news/researchers-find-masterprints-can-bypass-your-phones-fingerprint-scanner-0177081/ is also worth a read.

Hack the cmd,
open it it before logining in,
create an administrator account
login to new account
Edit old account password/fingerprint settings to off.
Log off.
Log in to fingerprint account.
Delete created Admin account.

Thanks alot BORW3 and Ecks!
i was thinking about the fingerprints the screen was covered with them. but still a bit beyond what i am capable of at the moment. plus i was sure this could be solved with a software solution.

I ended up burning a usbstick with hiren's BD 15.1 and ended up doing pretty much as BORW3 said but instead of using a boot disk to do copy cmd to login.scr or the autoloadcmdonboot reg trick, i used it to elevate the nopass user to admin.
(there was a password reset prog in the first menu, though it would be worth a lo.0k)

Thanks
