Lenovo & flexible screens - Aeolian - 06-29-2017

Quote:At an event in New York, the China-based firm has revealed a new concept for personalised laptops – a laptop that is able to bend in half, be folded down, and also contains a built-in keyboard.

Lenovo says the idea will use “new screen technologies” to allow it to be folded when not in use. The image of the concept released by the firm shows a screen that stretches across most of the laptop and curves towards the keyboard. Lenovo added that the device will be controlled by voice and its pointing stick that’s used on current ThinkPads from the firm.

This looks quite interesting actually. It seems like it's very handy for people, who are usually on the go or work a lot with laptops.

The thing I would be worried about tho is that it will wear out faster than your average laptop, since that bending mechanism looks a bit strainful on the material.

Kinda curious about the price tho, it's not likely to come cheap our way.

It looks quite Impressive however as @Lokes mentioned, due to the structure and usability, It's durability remains to be seen.
