Can we add a mod or something to stop outside links from new members , maybe you need X post to post a link?
If no mods exist I would happily script one , the viruses are getting annoying and make the forum look bad.

I actually agree with this one. I'm usually against such tight restrictions on new members, but it would definitely help mitigate (or at least decrease) the load of spam we get.

I fully agree with this. Though they can always put something like www.website (DOT) com. If you know what I mean. Though that could be implemented in a custom script.

I agree, I am new myself but I have noticed alot of accounts getting made just to post something in hopes of catching someone off guard. Until something is official I just say keep reporting the posts.

I also definitely agree.
As of late, there's been quite a few new members trying to Infect this board by posting malicious links. I'm not sure with MyBB, but phpBB has a native option In the ACP, whereby new members cannot post links for 7 days- external or otherwise.

That would not be that hard to fix, I have actually made a method in java just for this reason (I made it for another project, but to stop people from typing links) It returned a Boolean value. Did not take too long
