Hello, hello to all who read this!
I'm looking for a new forum and a new bunch of people to hang with
I've recently migrated from a forum I was a part of after having had my account stats altered, and seeing how most of the people I grew fond of have left some years ago, I figured it was time to put that forum down.About me? I'm a traveller, and developer. I'm fond of nature, and I play a handful of musical instruments. I've travelled without loads of money, and am familiar with stealth camping and sleeping on benches. Once, I slept in a church (you can thank the latest Pope for opening up churches at night for the homeless).
I'm very fond of music, and of good conversation. I'd rather start a campfire, have a fire-pit barbecue, and some good people around me. Oh, also I'm a massive cyclist, although the past year I've been slacking. I'm looking to get into that when I move to the place I'm going to in a week (it's somewhere in the backwoods of Europe
location undisclosed).I'm overtly positive and believe I am quite nice, but it's actual genuine behaviour.
If anyone is looking to get into software development, or into using GNU/Linux (Linux), or any other *nix platform (including MacOS), feel free to let me know. Also, if you've any questions about nature, or travelling, let me know.
I love reading; topics include novels (of various genres), and non-fiction; namely history, the social side of technology (data collection & privacy, cryptocurrencies, etc.), and philosophy. Some of my favourite novels include Lord of the Rings, Arabian Nights and Days, The Hobbit, and Siddartha.
Like I said, I'm looking for a new internet place to call home. Is this it? Well, let's see

Welcome to SL! That was a very interesting introduction - Thank you for sharing so much. Few people disclose their interests in the introductory threads, but I think it really helps us to get a feel for what new members are like.

Very nicely done introduction and form of explanation about yourself.
i remember the first day I joined was immediately attracted by Sinister's theme, hopefully you stay and see what a nice community goes on here.
