What are some good simulation/management games? - Skullmeat - 05-10-2017

Lately I've been playing games like Kerbal Space Program, Space Engineers, and From The Depths. I want more simulation and management games to to play. Does anyone know of any others?

Eh, I've got a few:
  • Rollercoaster Tycoon (At least the first three...) - They're all well-done titles, you can have a good bit of fun making parks, and at least for me they never got too boring.
  • Theme Park - Take RCT, remove a bit of the rollercoaster building and add more of an emphasis on financial management - a classic on the 3DO and PC
  • SimAnt - You simulate a colony of ants which is a bit of a different idea, but it plays fine and was just enjoyable the whole way through. Take over that house!
  • Dwarf Fortress - The learning curve is nuts but if you can manage to learn the game it can be a lot of fun - just manage a bunch of dwarves.
  • Cities: Skylines - SimCity with more interactivity - it's good fun to mess with.
  • M.U.L.E. - You have an Atari 800XL, so this would be one to check out if you can find a replacement for or an original disk drive. It's simple supply and demand economics and you'll probably need the manual to get what you're doing, but it's a solid title and one of the first popular economic simulators.
  • Flight Simulator X - There's more technically advanced flight simulators out there, sure, but this one is just solid with good mod support, lots of content already, and is just fun.

It's mostly random old crap, but maybe something in there will be somewhat interesting for you.
