Dark Tranquility - Atoma - Inori - 04-16-2017 Evident from the copious amount of Sabaton I've shared here, it shouldn't come as a surprise that I love Swedish Heavy Metal. Dark Tranquility is no exception; their basslines and rhythmic adaptability are both pretty nuts. After all the (comparatively) clean lyrics I've been listening to recently, the growls are kind of refreshing. Oh man, Nuclear Blast signs a lot of shit bands, but when they get it right they find a gem. I've been listening to them for over 10 years now. I'd heard of them before and more or less forgot about them, but they're definitely on my radar now. Speaking of good Nuclear Blast bands, fucking HammerFall! They're a little more fantasy/power metal, but they still kick ass.
