I'm having motivation issues - pvnk - 04-10-2017 I can't get motivated to do anything... Including school work. Well, mainly school work., RE: I'm having motivation issues - Boudica - 04-10-2017 Motivation is never a constant. I'd recommend setting some goals for what you want to get done. Even if it's a measly to-do list. Checking off those tasks usually feels pretty good, since you no longer have them hanging over your head when you know you HAVE to do them. RE: I'm having motivation issues - DarkMuse - 04-10-2017 Try aderal. Or try dieting, exercise, and healthy amounts of sleep but that's op honestly. Proper amounts of sleep, eating well, and exercising can make a big difference. RE: I'm having motivation issues - Synthx - 04-10-2017 Im in your same situation man. I dont understand why, but I am just being purely lazy. I get so far behind, then dont wanna do anything. For example based on personal experience, due to my computing tasks, I average around 5-6 hours sleep a night. On multiple occasions, I only slept around 2 and a half hours. I was not only lacking motivation, but one syntax error after another (which I normally hardly experience) was enough to Indicate that sleep plays a major role In brain functionality. In our teens and early 20s, we tend to require more sleep than when we're in our 40s/50s and so on. Try aiming for 8 hours to begin with. You may find you need more/less. Keeping a regular pattern for sleeping helps too, as in try to go to bed at the same time each night and wake at approximately the same time. Clinically, I'm not aware. But what I do know Is that the older you get, the less sleep your body requires. I remember In my teens, after clubbing, I was sleeping for 12+ hours straight. I struggle to get half that nowadays. EDIT: I've just read @"Boudica"'s post which pretty much sums up what I've mentioned. RE: I'm having motivation issues - Tombo1001 - 04-10-2017 To Do list. Clean your room. Set goals. Don't stick to a rigid timetable. Exercise. Eating healthy. Vitamin D3 - is great for this, you can buy it online. Just a few things I do. Motivation - a reason or reasons for acting or behaving in a particular way. Don't try to act motivated, this will not work. Just do small things to change your lifestyle and ''motivation'' will come with it |
