I usually search for a user's profile that way (using the url), and I searched for one who was (mysteriously) deleted... voilla!
We need a Bug Hunter Award like @roger_smith suggested.

I saw this a while back when I was making the extension, didn't think much of it. Probably should have reported it, so good job on that point
