Cleaning Keyboards Sucks. - Skullmeat - 03-16-2017
Offered to take a look at @Oni 's old Razer Chroma, which had an accident. He stated it did not work, but it worked fine when I tried it on my rig. My next step was to clean the keyboard. I removed the caps and ew, nasty. In his defense, the chroma has keys that are set in the keyboard, so anything that falls into it will stay there. After countless q-tips (which now have PTSD) It's as clean as its going to get. I'm going to put the keys back on and use it with my laptop for the next few days before I return it to him.

When I first saw this pic, I was like "fuck that". It's weird that it worked ok on your rig. O.o

Prepare thy eyes for the horror! xD Cleaning keyboards is nasty business. I hate trying to clean this laptop, and I am too worried about breaking something to open it up and attempt a thorough clean.

Now I see this I realize I should really clean my keyboard as well. Not that it's that dirty, since I do it usually once a week (not taking everything apart).
