Canadian Shooting, six killed, eight wounded! - Aeolian - 01-30-2017
Six people have been killed and another eight wounded in a shooting at a mosque in Quebec City, Canada, police say.
Shots were fired at the Quebec Islamic Cultural Centre on Sunday night, where more than 50 people had gathered for evening prayers.
One suspect was arrested at the scene and another was arrested nearby. Police do not believe there are other suspects at large.
The Canadian authorities are treating the shooting as a terror attack.
"We condemn this terrorist attack on Muslims in a centre of worship and refuge," Prime Minister Justin Trudeau said in a statement.
"Muslim-Canadians are an important part of our national fabric, and these senseless acts have no place in our communities, cities and country."

Saw this on the news this morning, what a shame. Apparently the mosque has been targeted before, too; I can't imagine how the community's Muslim residents feel.

It's a shame these keep happening. It's depressing that places of worship or learning are targeted so much. With 50 people there, it could have gone worse. Any decent-sized church, club, university, or movie theater should have improved security at this point.

I don't watch the news, so that explains why I saw the Quebec symbol on Google's homepage this morning.
Yet another tragedy with Innocent lives at loss. What's this world come to? One minute you're going about your own ways, and the next minute you're dead.

Turns out, it was other muslims behind the shooting. Or at least that's what's being reported, whether it's a white nationalist or just another muslim shooting at other muslims (It happens a lot) it is what it is.

It seems things like this are becoming daily... I really hope that somewhere in 2017 it'll get better with all those terrorist attacks and organizations like IS will be gone.
