Reputation Reset - Oni - 01-10-2017
Reputation Reset
Just wanted to notify everyone that we've reset reputation for everyone. This should give reputation a bit more meaning and make it a better measurement of members. This was extensively discussed with some of our core members (most had top rep) and we believe it's in the best interest of the forum. Be sure to drop your friends reputation, so they can have a great start.

Nothing odd about it. There were a number of people with lots of rep that either didn't deserve it or are no longer around. I'd like reputation to be a more accurate measure.

but. I worked so hard to get the 18 rep I had ;-;
this pretty much shows that being HQ and gaining over 200 rep means nothing in the long run. Why try if it will just get reset?

If you can get there once, it shouldn't be hard to do again. Expanding on what Oni said, most of the top rep board is made up of long-inactive members that might not represent the forum in its current state.

Shouldn't it already be accurate since...the people decide who they rep?
Just because the rep gets reset doesn't stop people from false repping people. What if i -repped Oni rn. Omg worse admin he has -rep :ooo

I feel like that's a bit unfair for new members like myself. I was just getting rep and now I have to start fresh. I don't mean to sound like an asshole or challenge your decision @Oni. Just saying, I don't get the point. I believe this is the best forum around so I guess I'll have to accept it.
