Light spectrum of antimatter observed at CERN - Inori - 01-03-2017
During the ALPHA experiment at CERN back in December, physicists measured the optical spectrum of antimatter for the first time ever. This is a pretty big leap for understanding exotic matter, so I find it pretty cool.

TL;DR
20 years of work.
The first "line" on their spectrographic test matched hydrogen's as they thought it would bc physics.
CERN is also able to create anti-hydrogen using other anti-particles
Essentially CERN has some new tech that is kicking ass in terms of effectiveness however their results so far are not surprising whatsoever in relation to expected outcomes. This however does not mean that the future for this kind of physics is bleak by any means.

Very nice share, I didn't hear a lot about CERN lately. It still amazes me what kind of machines they got there. I'm not that good in physics, but I really respect the people who work at CERN.
If they would find an alternative source of energy for example, that would fix a whole lot of problems, just instantly. They do very important work, that's for sure. I watched the video, and it was really informative, I believe there is also a documentary about CERN.

It's not only amazing what has been and continues to be discovered, but also what Is yet to be discovered. Who knows what else Is awaiting.

Anti-hydrogen...god dang.
Aside from the amazement this is actually really cool. Antimass/antimatter is interesting to those with practically know scientific interest and the fact we are figuring out the light spectrum of it is astonishing. Thanks for the share mate.
