Anonymous has taken the claim that they caused this on their twitter "@anoncorp" or something along those lines, and posted a youtube video explaining that a lot of the users are being targetted by scammers, and hackers (pretty stupid IMO)
I'm starting to not like them more and more.

The server's have been fucked up lately. I doubt its anonymous, it's probably because of the amount of people playing on BO2 and all these other games.

Only sign in servers went down not matchmaking.
I highly doubt it was from that.

The servers were fucked up for a bit and I doubt anon was the ones behind it. I to could take credit and have no proof to back it up.

Yes, it was painful waiting for the servers to get back up, after I was able to get online I couldn't join anybody's parties, send messages, or send invites.
