Canadian Air Force veteran killed in training - Inori - 11-30-2016

Captain Thomas McQueen, a 10-year RCAF veteran, was killed after his CF-18 crashed near Cold Lake, Alberta during a training exercise. According to interviews with Hamilton residents and Air Force officers, Cpt. McQueen was actively involved in his community, and dedicated to his service in the military.

That's sad. Sad

I wonder what caused the crash, if it was only training? Sounds like he'd been through a lot more than training, being a 10 year vet.

Given the intricacy of CF-18s and their new-ish arrival in Canada, my guess is on a system failure.

That's terrible news.

Why Is It that tragedies/deaths seem to predominantly happen to those who serve a positive role to the community and (In this case), their country.
What's even worse, It that he was about to be married.

Such a sad thing...
I am very curious as to what caused it. Goes to show that experience isn't everything - The Air Force is risky business. Must be so hard on the family.
