Anima Christi, A poem by Colcaps - Greed - 04-05-2013 The girl stroked the petals As she gust among the winds Like an angel only fallen from her skin Fearing death only from her sin Her mother died when she was young She lived in despair for the rest to come As she twist in the meadows of the valley of death She remembered her mother weeping in bed As she sat down in the blistering cold She remembered the flashbacks and her story foretold She cried and cried until one boy came And asked her "What is your name?" The girl replied her name was Dorothy The boy gave his jacket and was taken home on its priority She felled asleep as she was weak and bruised Until the young lad knew who she was and how she was used The girl woke up only to be seen A small lamp with a luminescent lighting "Where am i" The girl wondered And she thank briskly as she pondered The girl was screaming and she rested her eyes And she was wishing that she never have died But she forgot how all this happened She went back to sleep for this to end.
