Haven't seen that one. I just love short films, especially ones like this.
The world would be such a better place if more people, myself included, did more things like that man.

This reminded me of something I was taught in primary school back when I was like 7 or 8 years old. It's something I'll never forget.
We had an assembly and the head teacher got 1 pupil to stand up. Then he told them to smile at 2 other pupils. Then those 2 pupils would stand up and smile at another 2 pupils each. Then those 4 pupils would smile at 2 more pupils each and it continued until everybody was stood up.
It works in the work place, in the street, at a football game, in the pub, basically any time you smile or be nice to somebody (an act of kindness) they're probably going to smile or be nice to somebody else. It's just one big wave like you said. It also works the other way around, if you're a dick to somebody, they're going to be in a bad mood and probably take it out on somebody else.
