Time Travel - Esoterith - 06-28-2016

More mind Fuck

In theory wouldn't time travel be possible but if someone were to accomplish it wouldn't we notice? We're in an arrow of time and it would break the loop causing time itself to collapse and multiple different times to collide?

Would we even have enough power to control such a machine. It would require infinite energy not even the universe itself has.

Or what if time was a figmate of our imagination? What if there is not future or past. What's happening is happening and the past is not longer in existence nor the future has not be created until we have reached it so the future the present and the past is all now.

Time travel is a paradox in itself

Like the grandfather paradox, you kill your grandfather, but then you never existed, so you didn't kill him etc

How would you know it would need infinite power? It may only need the power of a potato lol.

Going off what the human race knows as a whole right now, it's not possible and probably will not ever be possible. For one I don't think our bodies could cope with it if it was real. I just don't think going back in time is or ever will be a thing. Plus it would be too dangerous since people could change the past, fuck up the future blah blah.

However, I do believe in travelling forwards. I don't mean like time travel but think about this: I'm sure in the future there will be a way to freeze ourselves or somehow slow down the development of the body so we age more slowly and live for much longer. It's not really "time travel" as we see it in the movies but it is something that could get our life further into the future than it would normally.

You can kinda travel forward faster already if you go super fast

Brilliant. You need to go 1c which takes infinite power to go back in time.
