I did for two years, I was IC for most of it. I was meant to be on the bus going to basic training on the 8th of Feb this year  but ended up having to be medically postponed until further notice. Because I had an Accessory Navicular Bone in my right ankle. It rubbed against my the posterior tibial, which supports the arch, Causing my foot swell and because insanely sore. I always had an issue with it but always ignored it because I'm stubborn when it comes to pain etc but I went from an 8-9 minute 2.4km run to a 12min+ and to me that was a huge red flag. I am re-applying very soon for the next February intake and hoping that i will be medically fit. I'm going in as a Chef just to get a qualification then Infantry and my goal is NZSAS with my cousin.

A week after surgery pictures. (I was in a moon boot for 7 weeks and on crutches for about 9.)

No worries, I went to get my schooling certificates(left when I was 16, didn't even have NCEA level one, found school far too boring so i made it fun xD) and just to gain discipline. I ended up being one of the top cadets and got a referral to join the army from an ex-soldier.

I was going to be the academic honor graduate until some things happen and I got bumped down.

It was not bad, I do miss it actually.
The only bad thing is that I had no contact with NO ONE for 5 and a half months.
