Social Networks - One - 03-31-2013
I want to hear people's opinion on social networks.
Myspace
KIK
etc.
Topics to discuss:
Government being able to access your information at any time, without you knowing.
Anyone can hack your profile and use your information against you.
Once it's on the internet, it's there forever.
Cyber-bullying.
I'd love to see how well this discussion turns out.

Well, I honestly hate Facebook because of the amount of stupidity located there.
I prefer twitter over most social networks.
I don't use IG
I liked Myspace, just not the sites layout
I don't use kik.
The government being able to access my information at any time has always worried me because you will never truly know if they are watching you at all times.
Well, that bothers me the most because I enjoy having some privacy and not worrying 'bout someone swatting me.
Once its on the internet forever, ey? That isn't true, you'd be surprised how deep you can cover something up on the internet. Most people who know how to do this, make sure to cover their tracks.
I've cyber-bullied once, the person was a asshole IRL. I almost made him kill himself, and I felt like a asshole. I have a major problem with Cyber-bullying. Yes I know, that was a display of hypocrisy.

Facebook and Twitter are fine. Instagram is for certain people... Myspace no one uses anymore. Kik is for little kids.. That's what I have to say.

On the subject of cyber-bullying it's wrong and it seems to happen to much. Government needs to F-OFF. The once on the internet it stays, well don't be stupid.

Duck face photo's... My entire fucking newsfeed... really...
Posting 'LMS for blabla on your wall'
and the ones who post photo's saying 'I'm ugly' so I write 'Yes you fucking are' because if that person believes it, it's true.
The ones who repost chainmail 'Send this to 1 trillion pplz in 5 mins or santa will rape you' or 'Repost this to blabla or I will kill you'

Deactivated my Facebook account a long time ago because of the amount of stupidity, irrelevant statuses and not much security.
Don't use Twitter, I have no use for it.
Don't use IG, even though I already have an account.
Myspace is useless, not many people use it anymore.
Don't use Kik, I don't even know what that is.
The only social networks I use are YouTube (for my fanmade videos) and Tumblr (for my constant fangirling).
One of the many reasons why I don't use Facebook is because of this - "Once it's on the internet, it's there forever." Which is quite true.

I use them a lot like my Facebook will always be open in a tab but I don't post stuff I just use it to send and receive messages, I don't see the point in racking up thousands of tweets on twitter either. I think Social Networking sites stop people from being social in the real world which is a shame as it makes it hard to get out more and meet new people in my eyes.
