The Stage - Avenged Sevenfold - Inori - 10-29-2016
Avenged Sevenfold was the first metal band I was introduced to, and as far as metalcore goes they're pretty much at the top of the chain. After their kickass live concert on top of the Capitol Records building in LA, the band revealed that their new album, The Stage, just dropped.
The Stage is a really cool album because, unlike most of A7X's work, it's themed on science, the universe, and AI. I haven't been able to listen to the entire thing, but what I've heard is pretty solid. Additionally, everyone's favorite scientist Neil DeGrasse Tyson has a spoken word piece in the closing track, "Exist", a 15-minute epic comparable to Iron Maiden's "Empire of the Clouds".
The album isn't currently available on YouTube, but it may or may not be on TBP if anyone's really keen on getting it.
